What was the initial spark for the property and how did it all begin?
Vallesa de Mandor was born in the 18th century as a stately estate surrounded by farmland, orange groves, and Mediterranean pine forests. Over time, its historical charm, privileged location just minutes from Valencia, and natural connection to the surroundings inspired its transformation into a venue designed to host life’s most meaningful moments. The vision was always clear: to preserve its architectural soul and offer it as a haven for those seeking authenticity, beauty, and emotion. Today, under the care of Gourmet Catering & Eventos, it is a place where heritage, nature, and gastronomy come together to create meaningful celebrations.
What spaces do you offer for a wedding or event?
The estate offers a variety of interconnected spaces that allow each moment of the event to unfold as a continuous experience. Ceremonies can take place in the French-style gardens, surrounded by flower beds and overlooking the Valencian countryside and Mediterranean woodland. For unforgettable photo sessions, we have the former stables. The cocktail reception is usually held under the pines, with the scent of citrus in the air, and the banquet can be served either in our glass-enclosed hall or at the foot of the estate’s grand façade. Each area has its own personality and can be adapted to the couple’s style, whether natural, romantic, classic, or contemporary.
How many guests can you cater for?
Vallesa de Mandor can accommodate up to 360 guests for a seated banquet and up to 700 for a cocktail-style event. Its flexible layout allows it to suit both intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations, all year round.
