Spain’s wedding landscape is as textured and evocative as its terrain — from wild olive groves to mountain-framed fincas and seaside sanctuaries. Whether you envision an alfresco gathering under twisted palms or a romantic fête tucked within storied stone walls, the country’s boutique venues offer endless inspiration. Here, we spotlight eight distinct spaces that merge design, intimacy, and heritage — ideal for the couple drawn to beauty that feels both grounded and transportive.

Jardines d’Alfàbia, Mallorca

A historic garden estate at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, Jardines d’Alfàbia’s 18th-century baroque façade is the dream wedding backdrop. A majestic entrance orchestrates a cinematic scene of mountainous surrounds.  There’s no accommodation onsite here, so celebrations are best paired with a private villa or boutique hotel nearby. The gardens host ceremony and dinner for approximately 80–250 guests, depending on spacing.

Vestige Son Vell, Menorca

Tucked away along winding countryside roads on the Spanish island of Menorca, Vestige Son Vell is a historic 18th-century gem. Once a traditional farmhouse transformed into a neoclassical villa, this beautifully restored property now operates as a 34-room boutique hotel. With it’s very own beach cove, it’s an intimate location for gatherings of 50–120 guests, surrounded by a dreamy backdrop of sandstone walls, arcaded courtyards, and olive groves that soften the edges of the land.

Menorca Experimental, Menorca

A former 19th-century finca reimagined as a quiet design retreat by the Experimental Group, with interiors by Dorothée Meilichzon. Whitewashed stone, terracotta, and hand-rendered textures meet wild olive groves and distant sea air. The atmosphere here feels slow, artful and intimate. A blank canvas engulfed by nature that calls for ambient touches and paired-back styling. The property offers 43 rooms and casitas, with the option for exclusive hire, making it suited to 40–120 person celebrations. A wedding that feels more like a shared residence than an event.

Ermida da Toxa, Galicia

A tiny chapel covered entirely in scalloped shells textured like lace when it catches the light. Ermida da toxa is a quiet, surreal landmark set on La Toja Island, linked to the mainland by a quiet bridge.  The chapel itself suits ceremonies of up to 40–60 guests seated inside, with larger numbers accommodating themselves around the exterior for a more open-air procession. No on-site accommodation — couples typically host their reception and stay at nearby boutique hotels in Isla da Toxa or O Grove. Works beautifully as the ceremony centrepiece of a weekend journey.
